Our Ambassadors
Cormac Comerford
ALPINE SKIING
Cormac discovered his love of skiing at the Ski Club of Ireland in Kilternan, where he learned to ski and is still a member today. He went to Harold National School in Glasthule and later attended Newpark Comprehensive in Blackrock. Growing up, Cormac enjoyed playing lots of sports, including rugby and hockey at school, as well as football and hurling with his local club, Cuala. Today, Cormac competes in alpine skiing and specialises in the technical events, Slalom and Giant Slalom. These races challenge skiers to weave through dozens of gates while combining speed, skill and precision. Although these are his strongest events, Cormac hopes to compete in all four alpine skiing disciplines at the Games. His hard work, determination and love of sport have helped him reach the highest level and represent Ireland on the slopes.
