Kate O’Connor

ATHLETICS

Kate O'Connor is Ireland's first Olympic heptathlete and one of the world's top multi-event athletes. After winning European U20 silver in 2019 and Commonwealth Games silver in 2022, she went on to win silver at the 2025 World Championships and become both Commonwealth Games and European Champion in 2026. Kate holds the Irish heptathlon record with 6,751 points and continues to inspire young athletes through her success across seven challenging track and field events.
