Ring 4a is all about Respect. Respect for self, respect for others, respect in sport and respect for the environment. This unit includes self reflection and mindfulness activities as well as games to really drive home the importance of this value. Students will investigate the impact of cyberbullying and racism on professional athletes and students alike. In addition we look at the impact of cheating on Olympians and reinforce the importance of fair play. To round out this ring we take a look at key initiatives the IOC are adopting in a drive towards environmental sustainability.

Activities include: self-reflection, mindfulness activities, small group activities, reading, videos, and ideation.
