RING 5:

Striving for Excellence

The final unit is a fun and engaging ring to finish the programme strong. This unit dives into the Olympic athlete mindset and gives insight into what it takes to be a top athlete. Students will be encouraged to dream big (doesn’t have to be in sport) and set goals. They’ll also envision their ideal day and do the sport psychology in/out of control exercise. We finish with some key activities around the growth mindset and resilience. Students reflect on the programme by taking the Olympic values quiz and fill out a survey. Teachers will fill out a brief survey in order to book a visit with one of our Olympic or Paralympic ambassadors.

Activities include: self reflection, goal setting, sport psychology exercises, surveys, olympic values quiz.

Below you find the full pack of downloadable resources for Ring 5 below; teacher presentation & accompanying teacher notes, student worksheet and any extra pdfs.
